Why an innovation project?

We believe that great changes come from innovation. Ideas need exposure, and require to be challenged, tested and connected to be matured.

Danish Embassy in Paris and CenSec invites Danish and French ecosystem to a virtual kick-off meeting for Innovation project on resilience and European sovereignty on 29 April 2026 at 1500-1600.

The current geopolitical landscape is driving our efforts toward greater European sovereignty and resilience. Our mission in this context is to build the partnerships needed to strengthen Europe’s capacity to address today’s
challenges and threats.

This project is a first step to create an innovation centre.

Target group

• Startups, scaleups and SMEs looking for funding and support
• Sectors: defence, space, cyber, tech, critical infrastructure

Why France?

1. Ranking 1st in the 2025 and 2024 ESNA "Start-up Nations Standard" for pro-innovation public policies. 
2. France is a major beneficiary of fundings from the European Investment Bank, receiving around €13 billion in 2025 to support industry and innovation.
3. Bpifrance* plays a central role at the national level, reaching a record €21 billion in financing in 2025, which  
   significantly boosts start-ups and scale-up's growth
